Cord Cutting Exercise for Solar Plexus Chakra

Energy Cord Cutting Exercise

This exercise is perfect for times when you are
feeling energetically drained by a person or
situation.

  • Think of a person that you wish to let go of or cut off from or forgive. It might be someone who is presently in your life, regularly or not so frequent. They might be near to you or far away. Or it might be someone from your past.  Visualise the person standing in front of you. Think of your reasons for letting this person or issue to leave your life. It may be because the person or situation harms your well-being or causes you to feel negative emotions.. or simply because it is time to let go of the situation once and for all. Let yourself feel all the emotions attached to the situation and the person.
  •  Now bring your attention to your Solar Plexus, your stomach area… visualise a fine silvery energy cord that reaches from your solar plexus to their solar plexus, this silver cord that creates the link, the attachment to each other. See it radiate and pulsate as it feeds the energy connection.  Every time you even think about this person or be in contact with this person, the link between you is being strengthened.
  • Now imagine that you have a big pair of golden scissors in your hands… visualise yourself cutting through this energy cord with the scissors. If it does not cut through the first time, do it again with emotional strength behind it. Detaching yourself from this person.  Dissolving the connection.
  • You are now completely detached. Now surround the person with healing green light, wish them well, bless them with love and forgiveness for their journey and watch them turn around and move off on their path.
  • Feel the release around your solar plexus. Pull any remaining energy back into your solar plexus..  just by simply telling yourself “I bring all my energy back to me”. Now cover and seal your solar plexus chakra with thick yellow light. You are safe and protected. You hold your own power with love.

Chakra Meditation- Manipura (Solar Plexus) Chakra

Colour-Breathing Meditation for
Manipura/Solar Plexus Chakra

Get comfortable.. if you`re lying down let your whole body relax and become comfy. If you`re sitting, then relax your hands on your lap or at your side, whatever way feels comfy.
And close your eyes. This is your time now, so leave all your worries at the door. Allow yourself to relax into the flow of the moment. Whatever comes easily for you is just right. There is only right here, right now, the future and the past do not exist right now.
Notice any sounds outside of the room, acknowledge them and let them go. Notice any sounds inside of the room, acknowledge them and let them go.
Tell your body to relax. Let your feet & legs soften into position. Drop your shoulders. Relax your hands. Allow your full body to soften down and relax into a natural position. Now tell your head and face to relax. Your scalp and hair. Your ears, your jaw and chin, your cheeks, your nose, your eyes, and your eyebrows..your forehead, all soft and relaxed.
Take a cleansing breath in…and breathe out the tension in your body.
Allow your breathing to fall into its own natural rhythm, not trying to control it in any way. Just observing as you breathe in relaxation, and breathe out tension. Breathing in, breathing out. Just watching the natural rhythm of your breathing.
If thoughts intrude, allow them to flow on past, and return your attention to your breathing. Breathing in, breathing out (repeat).
Bring your attention to your Solar Plexus area. Imagine a lovely little yellow light there…swirling around like a little whirlpool. Try to notice how it feels, how it looks. Try to get a sense of how it is functioning, can you feel any tingling? What thoughts are popping into your head? Is it swirling and moving, what speed is it, does it feel fast or slow, a little small light or a big enlarged light. Can you see any colour in your minds eye?  Visualise again the little yellow light around your stomach area, watch as the yellow glow starts to gently spread out and get bigger as it spins.

Now bring your attention to your breathing- breathing in relaxation breathing out tension. (repeat) As you  breathe in, visualise yourself breathing in golden yellow light down into your stomach area. With every in-breath you pull in more fresh yellow light, allowing it to fill your Solar Plexus Chakra and your stomach area, allowing it to spread further outwards, connecting with all other chakras, filling your entire body, up into your chest, your head, down into your arms and hands. Down into your pelvis, your legs and toes.… Breathing in yellow light energy, breathing out tension. (repeat).
As you breathe in this yellow light it brings you loving assertiveness, control, balance and self-awareness.  As you breathe out, the yellow light softens your ego. Feel the lovely golden glow as it gently spins and envelops you. Breathing in yellow light, breathing out tension. Tell yourself you are comfortable within your own power. You are in control. Breathing in yellow light, breathing out tension (repeat).
(Closing down the Chakra): Bring your attention back to your stomach area, to the yellow light of the Solar Plexus Chakra. Visualise the swirling yellow light getting smaller, bringing it down to around the size of a fairy light, bringing it back down to normal function. Repeat to yourself “My Solar Plexus Chakra is working at normal function”.

Bring your awareness back to the flow of your breathing, in and out, in and out. Notice the cool breath as it comes in through your nose and down the back of your throat and into your lungs. Notice the natural movement of your tummy as you breathe, in and out. Be aware of your full body again as it rests against the floor. Bring your attention to your toes, and give them a little wiggle. Then to your fingers and give them a little wiggle. Give your shoulders a little shrug. Let yourself be aware of the room again, of all the sounds close by. And when you feel ready to, you can open your eyes.

About Chakras

About Chakras

The Energy Field/Aura
We are not just our physical bodies, we are mutli-dimensional beings made up of the mind, the physical body and the spirit. Just as Einstein taught us, everything in the universe is made up of energy, from our bodies to the table, to the air we breathe, to colours and music. Even our thoughts are energetic vibrations that can be measured via EEG (electroencephalogram). Everything in the universe has its own energetic vibration. Energy cannot be destroyed, it can only change form therefore we are living in a big soup of energy that is formed, reformed and recycled, and ever expanding.
We are `light energy` beings also known as a Spirit or a Soul, living within a `heavy energy` physical body. We have a `life force` or energy flowing through us. There are different cultural and religious names for this energy force- in Yoga it is known as Prana, in Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Feng Shui it is know as Chi, and Christians call it Holy Spirit.
The electromagnetic energy field surrounding us is often know as the Aura, and has a number of layers with different purposes including a memory of everything that has ever happened to us. Just as each human being is unique and individual, so is their Aura. Though there may be similarities, no two are exactly the same. Each person's Aura vibrates within their own frequency at different levels of strength and intensity. Because the Aura constantly gives off and absorbs energy, it can also be affected and reacts to other energies and frequencies. Such as another person's Aura, where exchanges of energy take place all day, with everyone you meet. The Aura is how we perceive the world around us other than through our 5 senses, so it is our sixth sense as such. The Aura can now be photographed.

What are the chakras?
The energy field emanating from us has many energy centres known as the Chakras, each one having a unique function, and these extend out into our full energy body known as the aura. These chakras are like spirals and spin just like whirpools, pulling in or sending out information. These little wheels of light all have a specific purpose, name and colour. Our chakras can become depleted, unbalanced, and malfunction, and a chakra meditation can help to restore and renew one or all of the chakras. Every chakra has a specific colour and sound frequency, so meditating on either colour or sound (see chanting) can  heal and energise the chakras. Each Chakra correlates to levels of consciousness, developmental stages of life, colors, sounds, body functions, endocrine glands and much more.

The 7 main chakras or energy centres are:
Muladhara or Base/Root Chakra
Svadisthana or Sacral Chakra
Manipura or Solar Plexus Chakra
Anahata or Heart Chakra
Vishudda or Throat Chakra
Ajna or Brow/Third Eye Chakra

Sahasrara or Crown Chakra

How to tune into the chakras
There are many ways to tune into the chakras. You can practice tuning into your own chakras and also practice tuning into a friends. Tuning into other peoples chakras is sometimes easier because of the contrast of their energy to yours. Your energy field can pull in the information in various ways-

*Using a Pendulum- dowsing a chakra will clearly give evidence of how the chakra is spinning. Practice on a friend holding the pendulum over the chakras. When working with chakras always start at the base. The pendulum should spin along with the energy of the chakra indicating how open or closed the chakra is. In my own experiences the chakras will usually spin in alternate clockwise and anticlockwise direction, but some therapists would say they are all supposed to spin clockwise.

*Clairvoyance- keeping your eyes open and focusing on the areas can help you to physically see the chakras. Just like when trying to see the aura it is a good idea to `fuzzy focus` by closing the eyes a little and relaxing the gaze- trying too hard can interfere.  Another way to see the chakras is by seeing them in your minds eye. Practice on yourself by closing your eyes and bringing your awareness to one of the chakras. You could also place your hands over the area. You may be able to see in your minds eye any movement or colours.

*Clairsentience- Being able to physically feel the chakras. When you were a child did you experiment with feeling the energy between two stones as you rubbed them together? Or when you feel the static from a balloon or shopping trolley? With practice, the chakras can be felt with the hands. If you tune into someone else chakra you can also practice sensing what their chakra feels like by feeling it within your own body. For example if you place your hands over their Solar Plexus Chakra and tune in, you might feel a pull or movement within your own Solar Plexus.

*Claircognisance- this is a `knowing` or sensing of how the chakras are. Close your eyes and bring your awareness to the chakra, placing your hands over the chakra will help too. Your energy field should just bring in the information into your mind about the chakra.

Notice the natural movement of your tummy as you breathe, in and out.
Be aware of your full body as it rests against the floor or seat. Bring your attention to your toes, and give them a little wiggle. Then to your fingers and give them a little wiggle. Give your shoulders a little shrug.
Let yourself be aware of the room again, of all the sounds close by. And when you feel ready to, you can open your eyes.

Chakra Meditation- Svadisthana (Sacral) Chakra

If thoughts intrude, allow them to flow on past, and return your attention to your breathing. Breathing in, breathing out (repeat).
Bring your attention to your abdomen. Imagine a lovely little orange light there…swirling around like a little whirlpool.

Now bring your attention to your breathing- breathing in relaxation breathing out tension. (repeat) Now begin to breathe in some orange light into your abdomen area- into your Sacral Chakra, breathing in orange light. Watch as the orange glow starts to gently spread out. With every in-breath you pull in more fresh orange light, allowing it to fill your Sacral Chakra and your abdomen, allowing it to spread further outwards… Breathing in orange light energy, breathing out tension. (repeat).

As you breathe in this orange light it brings you happiness, fulfilment, creativity.. As you breathe out, you allow this orange light to remove all blocks and toxins.  Let the orange light fill you, as it spreads down to your toes, and up to your chest..spreading out into your full body and into all other chakras. Feel the lovely orange glow as it gently spins and envelops you. Tell yourself you are emotionally fulfilled. You welcome all healing pleasures in life. You are creative.  Breathing in joy, breathing out tension. (Repeat).

(Closing down the Chakra): Bring your attention back to your abdomen, to the orange light of the Sacral Chakra. Visualise it getting smaller, bringing it down to around the size of a fairy light, bringing it to normal function. Repeat to yourself “My Sacral Chakra is working at normal function”.

Exercise for Activating Prana (Energy)/ Hara:
The Hara or Chi Point is close to the Sacral Chakra, and is the energy store of the energy system. It is situated at the physical body`s central axis (centre of gravity/balancing point). Just like a storage heater in the room it can be activated to pump a warm glow throughout the body,  then left to rest and store energy for use at a later time.

1.     Stand with your legs shoulder-width apart, feet pointing forward and your knees comfortably bent.
2.     Take 7 deep relaxing breaths.
3.     Bring your hands to your navel with palms facing each other about 20cm apart. If you wish to close your eyes to help with visualisation you can.
4.     Visualise that you are holding a ball of sparkling, silver light energy -prana- between them (silver ball will purify the breath).
5.     As you inhale slowly, expand the ball by moving your hands away from each other.
6.     As you exhale slowly, bring your hands closer together to concentrate the silver energy. You should start to feel the energy between your hands.
7.     Do 7 inhalations and exhalations in this way, then bring the ball fo silver energy close to your navel and `push` it into your body.
8.     Now hold your hands against your navel and, taking 7 more deep breaths, feel your abdomen expanding and contracting, and the energy ball inside you increasing and decreasing in intensity.
9.     Now, relax and move your body.

Body Healing Meditation

Body Healing
The human body possesses an enormous, astonishing, and persistent capacity to heal itself. Disease generally occurs when we abuse our bodies or deprive them of basic requirements to keep us healthy over extended periods.

The Cell and Its Amazing Ability to Renew Itself
The most fundamental unit of the human body is the cell. All human life originally begins as one single cell, which then divides into many more cells, until a baby is born after nine months of cell division inside the mother's uterus.
Every second that we're alive, the cells in our bodies are endlessly working to bring us back to a natural state of homeostasis or equilibrium. When we turn to medicines or physical manipulations of our body's systems to heal us, we are really only facilitating our bodies' natural ability to heal from within.
Each cell is a dynamic, living unit that is constantly monitoring and adjusting its own processes, ongoingly working to restore itself to the original DNA code it was born with, to maintain balance within the body. Cells have the ability to heal themselves, as well as make new cells that replace those that have been permanently damaged or destroyed. Even when a large number of cells is destroyed -- something that happens almost daily within our bodies -- the surrounding cells replicate to make new cells, thereby replacing almost immediately the cells that were destroyed.
When a bleeding injury occurs anywhere in our bodies, blood vessels at the site contract to slow the bleeding. Next, blood platelets begin forming a blood clot where the injury is located. White blood cells then accumulate at the spot, and destroy and digest dead cells by secreting special enzymes stored in small packets in the cells called lysosomes. That way, dead-cell debris is removed and new space is made for new cells to occupy.
Almost simultaneously, the process of new cell formation begins. These new cells originate mostly from the newer layers of cells of a particular tissue, while older cells are pushed to the site of the injury, to gradually fill the space that was made by the injury. This remarkable and complex process automatically stops when the healing is complete.
This healing process is not just for injuries. It also takes care of normal, everyday wear and tear. Damaged, destroyed or dead cells are replaced in great numbers daily from our skin, mouth, intestines, and blood.

Free Radicals
The definition of a free radical is any atom or molecule that has a single, unpaired electron in its outer shell, making it unstable and highly reactive. Free radicals exist within the body's cells, and they are a normal part of the process of making energy within the cell (i.e., metabolism). A small percentage of the oxygen that is used to make energy, goes to making free radicals.
Free radicals chew up waste resulting from damage to the cell's genetic code storage (the nucleus) or to the cytoplasm (the cell's body, excluding the nucleus). But if free radical numbers become excessive, they create disease. Factors that increase production of free radicals in our cells include: inflammation, infection, and extreme stress.

Disease
More and more people are getting wise to the fact that contracting disease is avoidable, and within our control. Whether it's the common cold, or something more onerous such as heart disease or cancer, we have to work at getting those illnesses.
Leading healthy lifestyles and consuming healthful (as opposed to toxic) diets, will go a very long way in keeping us healthy, whether we are young or older.

Proper Sleep and Rest
A recent study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that as many as two-thirds of all Americans don't get enough sleep.
The optimal amount of daily sleep for the average person is eight hours, and for a child, 11-12 hours. But the myriad responsibilities that many of us, adults and children alike, juggle in this modern day, make it so that many are robbing themselves of one of the most crucial elements of maintaining good physical, as well as mental/emotional health.
The body is endlessly working to repair and regenerate itself. This happens to a great extent when we are sleeping -- when our body's energy is only minimally being used to sustain autonomic nervous system function (that is, involuntary functions such as heart beat), and most of it can be directed toward restorative and healing processes.
Shorting oneself on sleep is known to weaken the immune system. To get energy the artificial way (say, through caffeine) is to do the body a great disservice, by denying it the amount of rest that will make all its systems, including the immune system and the body's healing and restorative processes, work at their best.

Diet
Another way in which we can greatly improve our body's powerful self-healing properties is by eating a healthy, nutrient-rich diet.
It is important to minimize our consumption of processed foods, as well as artificial food additives, preservatives, colorants, flavors, etc.
A diet rich in vegetables and fruits, and low in animal fats and hydrogenated oils, is best for all of us. Lean sources of protein such as beans are also great. Nuts and seeds are rich in nutrients and fiber, and have beneficial oils.
Many nutritionists agree that eating raw vegetables is preferable to cooking them, as they have the most nutritional value when they're in their raw state. However, lightly steaming vegetables is also good. If you add vegetables to a meat soup, add them after meat has been cooked for 30 minutes or longer; leave vegetables to cook for 10-15 minutes only. Fresh herbs (parsley, cilantro, thyme, rosemary, and many others) are also packed with antioxidants (free-radical fighters), add great taste, and can be added to dishes and soups after dish or soup has been cooked.
Organic foods are preferable over non-organic, as they have fewer traces of pesticides and growth hormones.
In addition, organic fruits and vegetables have been found to have higher contents of flavonoids, plant compounds with antioxidant properties believed to aid in the prevention of cancer.

Exercise
Regular exercise strengthens and conditions the body's cardiovascular network and helps reduce emotional stress. It also promotes better sleep. You and your children don't have to go crazy with it -- it can be a fun activity that the family can enjoy, such as bike-riding, or just a regular walk that will stimulate blood circulation, and help the body oxygenate and purify itself.
Each of us truly is in charge of our body's health. And the more we work with our bodies, by giving them what they truly need, the less we will need to resort to...prescription medicines or doctor's visits!

 Meditation and Body Healing
Meditation is a healing art that is overlooked by most people. Meditation is very beneficial for the mind, body, and spirit because it helps raise their energy vibration. It has been hypothesized that people whose energies vibrate at higher frequencies rarely get sick. The main reason is because disease-causing microorganisms have a hard time surviving in a body that is vibrating at higher frequencies.
Russian scientists had actually done experiments that can somewhat proved this hypothesis. They found a way to purified water by just using higher vibrational energy of the Earth. This was done by mimicking the hidden powers of the ancient pyramids. By putting contaminated water under a pyramid built by Russian scientists, they were able to destroyed all the microorganisms without adding any chemicals. They believed this was possible because the pyramid acted like a medium that can condense energy and increase its vibrational rate. For more information on this experiment, please visit www.gizapyramid.com.
Meditation and Self-Healing
Our bodies are marvelous self-healing mechanisms. They are constantly busy with self-repair and working to move towards greater balance. The same is true, I feel, for our psyches. Tap into your intuition to promote healing. Relaxing into the flow of what is happening. Then  bring your attention to an area needing healing. Allowing something to be in our awareness is helpful in and of itself. Our attention is like a beam of energy and intelligence and when we direct it somewhere energy for healing is provided. The inner intelligence of the body puts that energy to good use. That’s the basis healing guided meditation. We can also be more proactive, as it were, learning to direct our energy in more specific ways. We drop into our inner knowing to find just the right “flavor” of energy for the situation. Visualization is a tool that is often used for healing.
When self-healing through meditation, let what needs healing to be fully in your awareness, and then see what “wants” to come, just naturally, to help the situation. It is always more powerful to connect with your own inner knowing. Your mind will pick up on the phrases you need for your process. As you are prompted to bring in energy, let that take whatever form comes easily. Some people may have very clear visualizations. For others, it may be something very subtle. Most importantly, it doesn’t have to be visual. You may have just a vague sense of some energy or movement. The energy may seem more auditory, like a hum, or kinesthetic, like a feeling of some texture or touch. Or you may just want to relax into the feeling of the meditation. Whatever comes easily for you is just right! (www.meditationoasis.com)

 My Notes.
The body has the ability to heal itself from any dis-ease under the right conditions.
Prevention is always better than cure.
Dis-ease is a symptom. And it is usually accompanied by pain. Pain is a messenger, that’s all. Ask yourself what the dis-ease is telling you? What messages is your body giving you?
Chronic pain can be very debilitating and frustration at the rate of healing or lack of healing can cause loathing for the specific body part. Give more love to that body part. Nurture it.
An holistic approach to healing or management is essential as one cannot work without the other! There are many avenues to choose from.
The Mind: Reducing stress. Saying Positive Affirmations. Being mindful of our belief systems. Going with the flow of life. Self-nurturing. Counselling. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. EFT. Hypnosis.
The Body: Dietary requirements. Exercise. Rest. Avoiding toxins/detox. Genetic/hereditary influences. Herbalism. Flower remedies. Aromatherapy. Acupuncture. Kinesiology. Reiki. Integrated Energy Therapy.
The Spirit: Self-love. Divine Connection. Fulfilling life purpose. Forgiveness. Growing & learning. Community connection. Meditation. Nature connection.
Always follow your intuition when it comes to healing modes. What works for one person may not work for another. There are many routes to healing and management depending on individual circumstances and preferences. Let yourself be guided to the right choices and people to help.
Meditation relaxes the body, relaxes the mind, and allows for the body cells to communicate with each other while removing interference from the mind or emotions. There is much research now into how meditation helps with specific body ailments such as blood pressure and pain.
Try not to beat yourself up for having dis-ease of the body. It is not realistic to go through life without challenges including physical ailments.
Try these tips:
·         Going with the flow will help. Don’t resist.
·         Thank the dis-ease for bringing a problem to your attention. Learn about the ailment from both a physiological and emotional point of view.
·         Thank the pain for bringing a problem to your attention.
·         Feel the pain, accept it and the associated emotions of it deeply, but do not ruminate.
·         Decide to learn, grow and heal from it.
·         Go with the healing mode(s) that you are drawn to. You might want to use a combination of traditional natural healing methods along with modern medicine.
·         Start your focus with either mind, body or spirit healing but always include each one eventually.
·         Practice detachment- telling the ailment/pain to go away once it starts.
·         Feed the ailment with love and healing energy. You don’t have to meditate to do this- just close your eyes and imagine the ailment being surrounded in healing white or green light.
·         Every bedtime, tell your body to heal itself as you rest.
·         If you work with angels, call on Archangel Raphael and healing green light.

NB Always consult your GP or health professional for advice.

Body Healing Affirmations:
“I listen to my body`s messages”
“I am willing to release the pattern within my consciousness that created this condition.”
“I love my body, I treat it with respect and care.”
“I am getting better every day.”

“I am in full health.”

Meditation Script for Body Healing
Here is the script for the Body Healing Meditation on the 20th November.
Tell your body to relax. Let your feet & legs soften into position. Drop your shoulders. Relax your hands. Tell your face and jaw to relax. Allow your full body to soften down and relax into a natural position.
Take a cleansing breath in…and breathe out the tension in your body.
Allow your breathing to fall into its own natural rhythm, not trying to control it in any way. Just observing as you breathe in relaxation, and breathe out tension.
If thoughts intrude, allow them to pass, and return your attention to the meditation.
Feel your chest and stomach gently rise and fall with each breath.
Notice how your body feels. Breathe in relaxation. Breathe out tension.
Continue  breathing, and stay mindful of it.

Now I will bring your awareness to your body, scanning for areas of discomfort, noticing how each part of your body feels, noticing any twinges, pains, imbalances. Starting at your toes, take note while moving on up your ankles into your lower legs. Then noticing your thighs, your pelvic area, buttocks. Into your abdomen and lower back, ribs and sides. Bringing your awareness on up into your chest and upper back area. Your shoulders, moving down into your upper arms, lower arms and fingers. Bringing your awareness back up to your neck and throat area, your head, face, eyes, ears, nose, mouth. Taking note of any areas throughout your body that may need some healing.
You will hear my voice, and you may have thoughts pop in your head, but gently guide them back out, and bring your attention back to my voice.
Breathing in beautiful fresh energy. Breathing out tension. Breathing in fresh white light, and letting it travel down into your whole body, cleansing as it moves through you.
Breathe in healing, and breathe out tension.. stay mindful of your breathing and know that every time you breathe in you are cleansing your entire body. You are breathing in cleansing energy and you are breathing out tension..

Now I will help you to use your intuition to bring healing, to your body, to your emotions. You will be using visualisation, or simply sensing something.. when I make a suggestion you might feel something or hear something. Just allowing whatever comes to come.
So now bring your attention to some area of the body, something that needs healing, something that’s causing you some distress. Just let that be fully in your attention. Fully in your awareness. Letting go of any judgements about it. Letting go of any way that your mind evaluates it.. simply being present to whatever youre experiencing that’s causing you distress. Letting it be held in a space of healing, compassion, and letting go of any meaning about it notice exactly how it feels. Where do you feel it in your body? Is it thick, thin, heavy, light? What colour is it? Whats the texture of it? Of the emotion or of the sensation in the body? Feeling what its like. Letting go of any resistance to it, and just falling into it. It might be that if it’s a physical problem there might be some emotion about it as well..simply experiencing that.

And now, allow healing energy to come, and it could come in the form of a colour, a light, a texture, a vibration, a sound, a tingle, just some vague feeling of energy. Let it appear however it appears for you. Let it come to that emotion or to that physical sensation or that body part. If its something in your body that you can imagine how that looks.. imagine healing energy coming, just the perfect energy. Maybe the energy feels hot and needs cooling energy. Try out different colours, see what colour needs to come. Maybe the colour needs to be bright or dim, maybe soft, maybe hard. Maybe it moves.. just allow anything to come into your imagination. Anything that feels healing to that area. Deep in your intuition is the knowledge of the exact right thing to bring in.
So now we`ll take a little time to let that energy heal that area, heal that emotion. Not minding the thoughts that may be present, just easily coming back to the healing if your mind wanders.
Theres no right or wrong way to do this, just letting your imagination and intuition bring the colour, bring the feeling. Or you might find you want to let your whole body fill with healing energy. Or imagine what that body part would be like if it was working perfectly, in perfect health. You can imagine it perfect, comfortable, whole. Emotions may come up, fears, doubts, frustration, sadness, all sorts of things. Simply experiencing that is all part of healing. Maybe the energy wants to move around in that area. maybe you want to bring in some swirling light, whatever feels good. Noticing what it is that that part of your body or part of your emotions is asking for. It might even be your whole body, maybe youre fatigued, or not feeling well. You can let your whole body be filled with whatever energy or colour or quality it needs.
Not minding the thoughts that come through as you do this process. It doesn’t matter it still works. Treating yourself with compassion, holding what needs healing kindly. So now we`ll take a few more minutes just continuing with this healing process.
Breathing in healing, breathing out tension. (Repeat).
Now, I want you to imagine that you are breathing in some more fresh energy, this time a beautiful green healing light. Breathing it in through your nose and letting it travel around your body, filling you with healing green light. Allow this wonderful light to radiate through your body, filling every little space, healing every cell that it fills. See this loving energy moving to wherever needs healed. See yourself basking in love. See this energy fighting the disease that has attacked your body. Visualise in detail the green healing energy consuming the atoms of disease and destroying it forever. See yourself returning to good health. Breathing in fresh, healing energy, breathing out tension. Take a few moments to allow this healing light fill your whole being.

Affirmation for New Year

In the infinity of life where I am,
all is perfect, whole, and complete. My life is ever new.
Each moment of my life is new and fresh and vital.
I use my affirmative thinking to create exactly what I want.
This is a new day. I am a new me.
I think differently. I speak differently. I act differently.
Others treat me differently.
My new world is a reflection of my new thinking.
It is a joy and a delight to plant new seeds,
for I know these seeds will become my new experiences.
All is well in my world.

Gratitude Meditation

Gratitude is feeling thankful.
Gratitude is an emotion of connectedness, which reminds us we are part of a larger universe with all living things.
The habit of gratitude can greatly help with feelings of inner peace, increase mindfulness, and attract more good into our lives.
Gratitude connects us to the present moment.
Gratitude uplifts our spirits and feeds our hearts.
Gratitude opens the heart and activates positive emotion centers in the brain.  Regular practice of gratitude can change the way our brain neurons fire into more positive automatic patterns.
Gratitude habits and rituals of giving thanks have been passed down through cultures all over the world.
Gratitude can help during times of stress or panic- thinking of all the hard times you have already overcome and all the good you already have in your life can be reassuring.

How to develop an attitude of gratitude
*Start a daily Gratitude Journal of things you are thankful for. This could be items, experiences, life changes, emotions, people, anything you wish.
At the start of every day think about 3 things that you are thankful for, this encourages a positive start to the day and invites in the good things you are grateful for.
At the end of every day write down 3 things you are thankful for receiving/happening that day.
*Gratitude Affirmations: Keep a box of gratitude affirmations and pull one every day.

*Gratitude Mindfulness: Be aware throughout the day of all the things you are thankful for, especially the things you might take for granted. Even your bills- be thankful that you have been entrusted to receive bills.

Gratitude Meditation Script
Here is the script I used for the Gratitude Meditation Session on 4th December.
**Think about something in your life you are very grateful for, think about where you can feel that in your body**

I will be bringing your awareness to things in your life that you are thankful for.
Just give gratitude the chance to come up naturally. And when it comes up just let yourself sink into the feeling, surrender to it. Notice how it feels in your body, how your energy feels. And if it doesn’t come up that’s ok, you don’t need to try to make yourself feel it. Just surrender to your heart not your head.
So lets flash through all aspects of your life that you might be grateful for.
Firstly bring your awareness to your breath, as you inhale and as you exhale and the fact that each of these breaths gives you life.
Then, be aware of your heart beating, pulsing, filling with love and compassion and peace, and flowing that back out.
Bring your awareness to your eyes, that let you see colour, faces, smiles, nature, the sunrise, the sunset, the rainbow, the moon and the stars, yourself in the mirror.
Bring your awareness to your ears, that beam in sound, music, laughter, the voices of those you love, the silence, the beautiful sounds of life.
Bring your awareness to your nose, that smells the ocean breeze, the aroma of sweet perfume, the flowers, the trees, newly cut grass, the wafting smells that come from the kitchen, cupcakes in the oven.
Bring your awareness to your lips and mouth, that tastes and savours and nourishes, kisses and speaks, that whispers, and sings.
Bring your awareness to your hands that hold and touch, and caress, and open and close, and applaud, and squeeze, the arms and shoulders that carry and hug and lift and stretch.
Our feet, our toes, the gift to wiggle them, transport you, walk, run, dangle, dance, kick, fold, leap and point.
What about your tears, your sorrows, in the strength that you seem to be able to muster, to make it through each day.
Bring your awareness to your abundance, your expansion, your evolution, your perspective shifts, the affluence and flow and empathy and love and light, and your ability to see growth, and potential in every moment.
Now just breathe and feel more grace, and ease.
And now experience the warmth, love and compassion that gratitude brings into your heart.
Drift your awareness to nurturing relationships in your life, the new ones and the older ones.
Material things that came to you unexpectedly, things that flow to you with great effort and commitment, hard work.
Think of love in your life, and your connection to those things that are sweet, and loving and honourable, and just feel right.
When we no longer take life for granted, we become grateful for everything that we have.
Just breathe and feel this flow.
